Where you start and end the fib trace (0-1) is critical There will be ”obvious” points that mostly work fine. But often the NON-obvious points fit BETTER.

Interesting example of fib placement. Instead of starting at the very top of price, I tried a lower peak. And suddenly the 1.618 and 2.618 extensions locked in perfectly. So that is what I will use as my Primary Count.

. Interesting development on the original chart above. Move up overshot the 3.618 due to geopolitical news. Then rejected, and a new Fib Retrace shows interesting issues.
This is in follow up to my previous Post about Stop Hunts.
Whales have now gotten two nice meals. After having digested a nice meal from couple days ago.
But there is good news in the air, more krill on the way. Goldman Sachs will trade BTC futures. Reddit accepting BTC again.
Perfect media coverage to push into next batch of stops. Would not surprised to see another one or two pieces of ”good news”.
Or maybe they collapse the whole thing and hunt for krill below. But they would have to dive pretty deep to find big pockets. Easier to finish the ”surfacing” move, feast on the 10k stops, then take a nap deep below.
I have NO idea if this is really what is happening. But makes for a fun story 🙂

Quick thoughts on recent price action. Shows possible thought process of whales / market makers.
So for my Stop Loss settings, I ask myself: -Where are everybody else’s stops? (too much of a target) -If I put my stop above/below, what happens to my Risk v Reward formula? -If I can not my stop above/below, am I just asking to LOSE that stop?
There is a lot of be said about “Pivots” and a lot of people mean different things with that word. What I am showing is the ”Old-School” definition of that term.
Pivots are as simple as this: (H+L+C)/3 of the previous period = Center Pivot (P) in current period. The the ‘Support’ (Sx) and ‘Resistance’ (Rx) pivots are calculated based on above equation. There are many variations used these days, but the ”Traditional” is the first, and I think most commonly used.
What do they tell you? The seem to make good TARGETS for a move, and often lose energy there. Many traders will look to take profits at a Pivot, which is obvious in above chart.
I will add updates with more explanations later, after this is up.
BTC seems to be replicating Elliot Waves this year. Chart shows last EW 12345 duplicated and ending at $6200. Then, the ABC retrace replicated seems to end at $4150.
BUT, see the relevance of the 15th day of every 2 months, which have lead to the last two ”crashes”. Interestingly, November 15th lines up with the upcoming SegWit2x fork. In theory, people will be buying BTC until the fork, in the hopes of ”free money”. And in theory, some of those recent buyers will sell their BTC after getting the bonus. This fact may well be used by the ”Whales”, to engineer the crash just around that time.
Getting back to duplicated EW waves, it seems the wave V ended too soon. I probably should just adjusted the slope (time) of the waves, but the amplitudes (prices) seem to match quite nicely. So the only question in my chart is: What will BTC do from now (just after $6.2k peak) and until the start of the crash (which I don’t think will have before the fork).
