4.캐스팅
3디 프로토타입이든 손으로 조각한 왁스이든 결과 왁스 모델은 로스트 왁스방법을 통해 귀금속 주조로 전환되어야 합니다.
1). 밀납심기
보석과 같은 작은 조각의 경우 일반적으로 왁스 나무를 심어 왁스 몰드를 일괄적으로 금속주물로 바꿉니다. 준비된 왁스 모형을 왁스 스틱에 일정한 순서에 따라 층층이 용접하면 최종적으로 나무 모양의 왁스 나무가 얻어집니다. 왁스 패턴이 서로 닿지 않도록 최대한 용접합니다.
2). 석고 채우기
식재된 왁스나무와 베이스를 스테인레스 튜브에 넣고 석고 슬러리를 천천히 주입한 후 , 석고가 굳을 때까지 6-12시간 동안 자연 방치합니다.
3).구운석고
석고형은 탈랍,건조,주조 보온을 목적으로 구워집니다.
4). 액체 금 붇기
석고 틀이 건조된 후, 녹인 금물을 노즐에 붓습니다.
5).석고형 폭파 및 청소
석고주형은 고온상태이므로 꺼내어 잠시 방치한 후 찬물에 넣어 폭파하면 수축으로 인해 석고가 폭팔하게 됩니다. 이때 황금나무를 꺼내어 큰 석고 조각을 털어낸 후 30% 불산에 10분간 담근 후 틀어내고 황금나무 표면이 깨끗해질 때까지 남은 석고를 헹구어 제거한다.
